Swing'it Dixieband consists of various former students from LCCM: Martin Jarl Velsin, Håvard Mathisen Tanner, Patrick Williams, Leon Røsten and Jeremy Paul. Swing'it creates a vibrant atmosphere taking the audience 100 years back across the Atlantic to 1920s New Orleans. Their technical abilities combined with humour, energy and lots of charm has made them Norway's No.1 band in the swing jazz/hot jazz genre. Although based in Norway they play regularly in UK and the rest of Europe. They've played festivals like Edinburgh Jazz Festival, Kongsberg Jazz Festival and Molde Jazz Festival with highlights being support for Dr. John and A-ha.
