Richard is a freelance drummer and Musical Director. He has worked with a plethora of Artistes including Gary Barlow, Annie Lennox, Roger Daltry, Nik Kershaw, Sugababes,TInchy Stryder, ABC, Anne Dudley, Take That, Go West, Marc Almond, Sister Sledge, RENT the musical and the BBC.
Richard has been musical director for Holly Johnson (Frankie goes to Hollywood), Jimmy Somerville, Gary Barlow (TV project), and countless others. He is currently resident Musical Director for the International “Rewind” festival house band. The biggest retro festival in the world.
His former band ‘HEADSPACE’ (Formed with Adam Wakeman) received critical acclaim with their progressive album ‘I Am Anonymous’.
Richard also runs his own remote drum studio recording for producers, songwriters and library companies around the world. Clients include - Kipper Eldridge (Sting), Altitude music, Go West and Ossi Bashri.
