Our very talented third-year students will be showing off their grooves on Tuesday, 26 February at the Venue. For the first Professional Performance gig of the year, we’ll have three bands performing 70s soul, acid jazz and neo soul, showcasing their talent and artistry.

On 21 February, we’ll be having an Emotional Intelligent Leadership workshop. Emotional intelligence (EI) is the ability to understand and manage your own emotions, as well as those of the people around you. People with a high levels of emotional intelligence understand their own feelings, know what their emotions mean and how their emotions can affect other people. For leaders, having emotional intelligence is an essential ingredient for professional success. 

We couldn’t be more proud of our alumnus Tom Walker for winning the British Breakthrough Act award last night at the Brits!

We are extremely proud to announce that one of our songwriting graduates, Tom Walker, has been nominated for two Brit Awards!

On 8 February, join us for an evening of unique music at the Music Box! Some of LCCM’s promising young artists will be showcasing their original material at a gig, taking place at the Venue from 6pm to 9pm on Friday evening. Make sure you arrive on time so you don’t miss out on any of the student performances.

Our All About the Band course has been running since 2014 and is a collaboration between Southwark Music Service and LCCM.

On 5 February, LCCM is hosting a special seminar on music production with Pete Webber, who will share his two decades of experience in the music industry as a music teacher, promoter and production manager.
