Module Leader - Jazz Performance

After completing a music degree at the University of Denver in the 80's, Graham returned to his native England and began working in the UK as a jazz pianist and session musician. Between 1991 and 2001 Graham was the Musical director of the pop band Incognito, recording 13 albums and touring the world several times.

 

This was followed by a period of work in London's West End as principle pianist on several shows (including The Witches of Eastwick, The Full Monty, Ragtime, and Thoroughly Modern Milly).

 

From 2006 to the present, Graham has been the pianist for singer Stacey Kent, touring extensively and recording several albums for Blue Note, including the Grammy nominated Breakfast on the Morning Tram.

 

Over the past three decades Graham has worked with many Jazz and Pop artists including: George Benson, M People, Hamish Stuart, Will Lee, Lulu, The Jones Girls, Phillip Bailey, Jazzinho, Chaka Khan, The BBC Big Band, Omar, Madeline Bell, Jocelyn Brown, Mica Paris, Sir Cliff Richard Aretha Franklin and Kenny Thomas.

 

The Graham Harvey Trio has been in existence for 25 years and has appeared at Ronnie Scott's in London and on French national radio.
