We try not to cover gossip in this but given the huge size of the individuals involved, we no longer deem it so! There’s been all sorts of rumours flying around that Scooter’s superstar clients Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato have been planning to leave SB Projects behind and find new representation – however until very recently no-one has been commenting. Now, Ariana Grande has seemingly parted ways with Scooter Braun and HYBE for definite, a source with inside knowledge of the situation confirmed to media outlet Variety this week.

“Scooter’s team is spinning the story. Ariana is leaving both Scooter and HYBE. There is absolutely no truth to her staying,” the source said in a statement, noting that the singer unfollowed Braun on social media earlier this week. “They are friendly but she’s outgrown him and is excited to go in a different direction,” they continued. Meanwhile, sources close to Scooter Braun have said that instead of any dramatic fall-outs, Braun is continuing to step back from day-to-day management to focus on his role as CEO of HYBE America, the South Korean entertainment giant behind K-pop titans BTS (to which he sold Ithaca Holdings, the parent company for his SB Projects management business, for a mind-blowing $1.05 billion in 2021). Without Grande and Bieber though, we wonder how much SB Projects would be worth now…
