Rosanna's music is notably influenced by the years of classical education as well as her later studies in Jazz performance. Born and raised in Lisbon, her roots are represented in her work, maintaining a sentimentalist ambience reminiscent of Portuguese folk tradition. Exploring personal and engaging thematics, her lyrics are laced with noir overtones and passionate messages that promise to evoke a wave of nostalgia. Bishopskin are fronted by vocalist Tiger Nicholson and guitarist James Donovan (also of HMLTD), they have now expanded into an 8-piece outfit when performing live and have collaborated with a number of familiar names from the London scene, including Alex White (Fat White Family), Seth Evans (Black Midi), and Duc Peterman (HMLTD).
